2 French tourists, Peruvian crewman ID'd as victims in cruise ship accident

Italian news reports have identified the 3 dead when a luxury cruise liner went aground off the coast of Italy as 2 French passengers and a Peruvian crewman.

The ANSA news agency said Saturday that the bodies of the 3 men were in an exceedingly morgue. It didn't cite a supply.

The bodies were recovered from the ocean when the Costa Concordia ran aground off the little island of Giglio close to the coast of Tuscany late Friday, tearing a 160-foot (50-meter) gash in its hull and sending in an exceedingly rush of water.

Survivors who escaped the ship said they crawled along upended hallways attempting to achieve safety as plates and glasses crashed. Authorities say there are still seventy folks of the four,234 on board who are still unaccounted for amid the confusion.
